Dear mountain hut managers,
You may not know it but your shelter has been
visible for nearly six months in the web
site www.rifugi-bivacchi.com,
a completely independent project, based on
passion and the desire to inform tourists
and those who love the mountains.
|
|
You are probably already present on the internet
with a page in site of the province, mountain
community or tourism association.
Despite this, we believe that being part of
a specific and easily accessed network like rifugi-bivacchi can
be a more valid support system.
Furthermore, as you can see, the philosophy
which guided the implementation of the pages
of the site allowed for the preparation of
a product which, in spite of limited space,
provides all of the most important information
about your mountain hut including directions
on how to get there.
|
|
Now, however, to attract even more
interest and to provide a better service,
we’re expanding from only the territory
of Lombardia to all of the Alps and we’re
changing the publication system of the pages
by inserting a database, something that requires
another investment.
. This said, you are not required to
pay for the maintenance of the page which
you already have and which we ask you to check
for and
report eventual errors (by
filling out the form in the contacts page or by
sending us an e-mail).
|
|
| Your web space on rifugi-bivacchi is and will continue to be free!! |
If you wish, however, you can
give a donation, which will allow the site rifugi-bivacchi to
continue and to improve. In exchange
for this friendly offer, it’s possible
to increase the space reserved for the
information about your structure, adding two
or more pages which can include:- news
on the history of the shelter and its custodians
- other possible excursions or climb
- news concerning the activities of the
mountain hut itself (particular meetings, demonstrations,
etc.)
- a map of the area designed to measure*
|
|
We possess one of the most complete bibliographic
and photographic archives, which will contribute
in no small part to the development of the
pages.
Considering this possible expansion, but also
to help sustain the site in general, we ask
for a contribution of 150 euros a year (which
includes both periodic and requested updates.)
The decision not to accept this proposal will in no way penalize the
visibility of your shelter within the site and therefore, we leave
the decision on whether or not to participate in our project up to
your discretion.
For further information, fill out
the form in the contacts page or send us an e-mail.

* lthe map will
be schematic.
For high resolution, more detailed and graphically
elaborate maps (even printable), which you
can see on
the site http://www.popso.it/ (section
"Trekking") a
cost of 100 to 150 euros is predicted (standard
dimensions 20x20 cm).
