From the station in Pontersina (1774 m) take the Val Roseg unpaved road. The road is closed to traffic but a service of horse drawn carriages is available. From Hotel Roseg follow a marked trail along the bottom of the valley to Alp Ota Suot. From here begin the climb towards the right that brings you to Margun da l'Alp Ota (2257 m). On the right go up over curves to then follow a gradual diagonal towards the south, passing by the level area of Plaun dals Suts (2679 m). Descend a gentle slope to the slopes of the moraine below the western part of the small glacier of Roseg and, making a last arc towards the southeast, you'll come to the mountain hut.
b) From the intermediate station of the Corvatsch gondola (2699 m) take the road that runs halfway down the mountainside and follows the head of the moraine valley of Murtel in a semicircle towards the east (signs). This takes you to the opposite side below Fuorcla Surlej (2755 m), which you get to after a short climb. Just below the pass, on the opposite side, take the trail that turns off on the right. This takes you due south first with a gentle descent then levelling out below Piz Corvatsch at 2569 m (2 hrs; marked trail E).
