From Samedan follow the road to La Punta 1697 m, where, on the left, you'll find the Abula Pass road. Follow this road to Punt Granda 2256 m CNS, where you can park your car. Take the marked trail on the right for the Es-Cha hut. This easy trail takes you to the Gualdauna saddle and climbs over the large southern ridge of Piz Blaisun to enter the valley of Es-Cha. Then it crosses the head of the valley going very gradually uphill in a diagonal to get to the opposite side. The mountain hut is located on a ridge there.
