Just after Pantresina, at Punt Muragl 1738 m, you'll find the departure station for the rack railway that goes to Muottas Muragl. From there, over a very good marked trail, head southeast tocross the Muragl Valley halfway down the mountainside. Going slightly downhill, come close to the bottom of the valley near Margun (2338m). Now go back up along the river and then cross it to get to the other side of the valley, looking out upon the Bernina Valley near Chamanna Segantini at 2731 m (rest stop). Continue, halfway down the mountainside towards the southeast, cutting across the southeast slope of Piz Muragl and then that of Piz Languard. Below this summit take the steep trail on the left that brings you onto the southern crest and the mountain hut.
b) From Pontresina, go up to l'Alp Languard (gondola) and from there take the trail that goes up toward the east. It crosses the right orographic side ( right side when facing downhill) of the Languard Valley in diagonal, to join with the preceding itinerary below the top of Piz Languard.
