From Starleggia (SS36 to Campodolcino - 133 km. from Milan- turn left towards Isola and left again a few hundred meters ahead towards Starleggia) follow the C20 trail passing uphill from the town. You'll soon arrive at the edge of the basin of San Sisto (1810 m.) and a small group of houses situated there. Near the fountain in the center of the village, take the C21 trail on the left. After passing a quarry, cross the bridge over the river and hike up to the Alpe Morone alpine huts at 1860 m. From here, go to the right climbing diagonally until you reach a meadow where there is a waterspout. Go left (east) following the water channel and then go uphill towards the right until you come to the crest of the mountain, which makes up the southern edge of Val Sancia. Follow the crest to the trail that climbs the Alpe del Servizio. Go right and uphill until you reach the saddle of the pass.
