From Starleggia ( SS36 to Campodolcino - 133 km. from Milan - then turn left for Isola and after a few hundred meters, left again for Starleggia) take the C20 trail and, passing above the town on a steep path, come to the edge of the vast, grassy hollow of San Sisto (1810 m.), a small group of houses which come up shortly after. From here, cross the river, go right, and follow the trail to Gusone.
