a) From the arrival of the gondola of Chiesa Valmalenco-Palu (30 min. Ski runs and trail; E). From the gondola (around 2000 m) follow the blue run, which goes down from Mount Motta (Sasso Alto). Just after the first seemingly flat part you'll come to the signs that lead you quickly to the mountain hut after crossing the red run (30 min). b) From Chiesa Val Malenco (960 m) follow the road to Chiareggio and at the level of the last houses of San Giuseppe turn right on the road to the Sasso Nero private mountain hut, after which the road is unpaved. After some curves take a right and carry on to the open level space of Barchi at 1689 m (to here by car). Follow the signs along a jeep road through the woods to come to Lake Palu. From here turn right along the ski run and you'll get to the arrival station of the gondola. From here you can follow the preceding route.

To a href="rifugio.cfm?id=79" class="LINK"> Palù mountain hut (E; 30 min) Trail. Go down along the ski run to the basin of the Palu Alps (2007 m). From here, following the signs, continue towards the eastern shore of Lake Palu, which you then pass along until you get to the mountain hut at 1947 m (30 min).
To Mitta and Musellamountain huts 2021 m (E; 2hrs) Marked trail and mule path.
From the mountain hut go down to the blue run which connects Campolungo Pass to the arrival of the gondola. Follow the run on the right till you go up the pass and then lose elevation. Stay on the ski run going north to the Alpe Campolungo alpine hut (2110 m). From here continue along a marked trail (red and yellow circles) which connects to the Franscia - Dosso mule path of the summits of the Musella Alps. Follow this towards the left to the flat area of Alpe Campascio (1844 m), from where a short climb through the woods takes you to the mountain hut (2 hrs).
