Shortly after the beginning of Lake Montespluga you'll come to an unpaved road, which, from SS36, turns off on the right and leads to a group of houses. Following in part the path of the road or cutting across the curves, through the steep pastures, climb in a southwesterly direction until you come to the crest of a grassy slopeat the foot of the westernmost flank of the southern slope of Pizzo Spadolazzo. A flat, easy trail now crosses the high part of Scalcoggia Valley. Making a wide arc, it comes to a grassy hillock, on the other side of which are some alpine huts and Emet Lake. The mountain hut is located near the lake.
